Wow- what a week of activities it has been!!!
It started May 30th with Ashlee's First Communion. We have been planning since November so I was very happy for it to be over. She was the only who did it this time and I thought for sure she might have a mini meltdown but she did not. She did hesitate with taking the wine- says it stinks and says the bread is dry and icky, however she pulled it through. Her party after was filled with family and lots of friends!
Next up, the last week of school and all the activities that go with that especially for the 5th graders who are transitioning out of elementary into the middle school system. One day we had the 5th grade talent show, one morning 5th grade recognition and on the last day 5th grade clap out. Some of you may wonder what is"Clap Out" , it is where all the parents of the 5th grades line up in the halls and "clap" out the 5th graders. Luckily my mom was here to go to some of things I could not. The biggest surprise- Allysa's classmates voting her her "most neat", really have they not seen her room. I am thinking her classmates may have been a bit confused.
Last but not least- Kevin turned the BIG 40 on June 1. On his actually b-day we took him to Roosters and my Aunt Nanc and Uncle George joined us. Then on Sat. I planned for us and a large group of his friends to go to Easton to dinner and do some bar hopping. He had quite a turnout- we had our "hood" friends, his "hooters" buddies and some ole Nationwide buddies. I think everyone had a good time.
Now, is one big slide of the week that was CRAZY but fun!!!
