Have you ever had....

Have you ever had those days or even week where it is one thing after another? Why do we book ourselves so tight? At work, it is meeting after meeting. Then I come home, take the kids to their activities, make dinner and still have an errand or two to complete before even thinking of going to bed . There just always seems to be something this week!
I may end up in room like this before it is all over unless Friday gets here soon!

Ugh- Mondays!!

Sunday finished off such a nice weekend, it was very hard to get up and get to work. I think many of my co-workers felt the same, Everyone was " Just There". Mondays are the worst. The count down to TGIF has begun- 4 more days!!!

It took me awhile to figure out what Silas was doing- He is fascinated with watching the water drip onto the cement from his swim trunks!

What was I Thinking???

Last night the Hannah Montana 3D movie premiered on TV- we decided to let the girls watch downstairs on the "good" TV with some friends. With all the screaming, you would have thought we were at the concert again.
The reason I titled this " What was I thinking", I caved into the persistent question "can we have a sleep over". I felt like the Brady Bunch but instead of 3 boys and 3 girls, I had 6 GIRLS, ages 5-9. YIKES!!!!!!!!
After caving in , I wondered what the morning would be like. The only image popping in my head was a Zoo. In actuality it was more of a bed and breakfast, they got up and I made a ton of waffles and eggs (the dishwasher has already ran twice)...I have to admit manners and good behavior were in abundance!!! I and the house survived nicely.

For those of you worried about Kevin surviving that many females, do not worry he is still recovering from spending time breaking in the Wendel's new patio.

Another TGIF Bites the Dust

I really wish I new why the weekends go fast. We look so forward to TGIF and then before you know it is GONE!!!
It ended up being quite a busy one.....Ashlee had a sleep over with her buddy McKenna. These two are such polar opposites, it amazes me they get along so well. Ashlee is ridiculously shy and McKenna is outgoing and on at all times. They are good for each other and it is so nice that she lives like 10 houses away.
Jen, Keith and Sam( the closest I will have to having a little boy) were over for pizza, then my Aunt Nancy and Uncle George stopped over and later Kelly and Patrick( a rare night our resident MD was not on call) popped over. It was one late night on the deck and then before you know it, it is over and already Sat. Now for the not so fun part-Clean Up!

Peer Pressure

I am sure some of you are wondering how I came up with the name you can Stop, here is the story, I gave into peer pressure.

For months now my dear friend Christa has been on my case to create my own blog, well I finally gave in on one condition that she use her blog expertise to help me create and name my blog (mistake number one). Her creative mind went to town and she came up with Wacko Mascos next she recruited her partners in crime (Beth and Jen) to agree this was the only option. I am really not sure she took the time to think of others once that one entered her mind. There you have it, I must give all the credit to my friends and now I know what they really think :)

Once we had the name it was time to create, that took a little longer. We were suppose to have it up and running for my 4oth(yes I am 40), I suspect to post some pics of the fun and embarass me. However, that did not happen. So, Tuesday night while having a drink and chatting at Jen's she created the site. I swear it took her 10 minutes, I guess we can call her the queen of blog design because I am not only who used her expertise.

Really, thanks Christa you are the best. Now you can tell Ella your are royalty "Queen of Blogging"
